Riding levels for everyone

We will ride in pelotons of 20-26 riders, based on experience and ability. There will be Tour de Cure ride leaders in each peloton, who are in radio contact with support cars that travel in front and behind each peloton. Peloton cars are fully supported safety vehicles with a driver, navigator plus nutrition, medical and mechanical assistance. You can nominate which level of peloton you wish to ride in on tour when we survey riders closer to tour, and your request will be taken into consideration by our training team based on your skills and fitness.

What to expect

Signature Tour is a unique experience. After signing up you will be welcomed into the Tour de Cure family, and we will support your preparation in training, safety and of course fundraising.

Whilst on the Tour itself, we will travel Hobart to Adelaide - often taking the roads less travelled, allowing you to take in stunning Tasmanian, Victorian and South Australian backdrops. We will travel on the iconic Spirit of Tasmania and visit locations through the Apple Isle and Great Ocean Road. All whilst learning about how you can play your role in raising cancer awareness and meet Cancer Researchers who are at the frontline of new knowledge and breakthroughs.

Every night on tour, Tour de Cure gives $10,000 to a local cancer charity, touching the lives of rural and regional cancer patients and their families. You will have an opportunity to meet the cancer support teams who work day-to-day with cancer patients and learn how they make a difference on the ground.

Our tours have everything you need catered for. All you need to do is to train and raise enough fundraising dollars to meet your fundraising commitment and enjoy tour. You are well looked after on the road by experienced ride leaders and support crew.
